I picked up an iPad Pro 9.7″ last night and finally got a chance to play around with Procreate. The app really is stunning. It takes full advantage of everything the iPad has to offer with the Apple Pencil. The app is simple to use and intuitive. It’s robust without complication. It’s just a great, powerful app. There are a few nit picks I could make like palm rejection not working 100% of the time – I got several unwanted strokes, but they weren’t a huge problem to fix.

In three hours time I was able to unbox the iPad, install Prorcreate, LEARN HOW TO USE PROCREATE, and edit this video of the drawing process in iMovie.

Pretty incredible considering the pains I went through with my Surface Pro 4.

Here’s the finished version of the drawing I did in PROCREATE – just a fun, random character.

Hope you enjoy it.
